Hemorhoid

Were you looking for information about Hemorrhoids? Hemorhoid is a common misspelling of hemorrhoids.

Hemorrhoids are common colon problems that affect both men and women equally. They can be internal (inside the anus) or external (under the skin around the anus), and occur when the veins around the anus or lower rectum become swollen and inflamed. Hemorrhoids are often caused by straining during a bowel movement. However, other things -- like aging, pregnancy, anal intercourse, or chronic constipation or diarrhea -- can also contribute to the development of hemorrhoids.

(Click Hemorrhoids for more detailed information about what you can do to help prevent hemorrhoids and the tests and procedures available to diagnose this painful problem.)
